Geography might not be everyones strongest point! The Internet is a phenomenal reseach tool for finding not just countries and cities, but we are now able to hone in on specific buildings and landmarks! There are a plethora of map websites to choose from, here are just a few. Each volunteer that receives our Volunteer Compass Information Guide (VCIG) will receive specific map information relevant to their project. Here is just a sample of Map sites:

Stanfords is the UK's leading specialist retailer of maps, travel books and other travel accessories. The company was established in 1853 by Edward Stanford. Their flag ship store in Covent Garden opened in January 1901 and claims to offer the world's largest stock of maps and travel books under one roof. |
