	EGYPT - Coral Reef and Beach Clean-up Project Itinerary

	The Itinerary		Following is a day-by-day break-down of the type of work you will be expected to do or perform. The structure is not set-in-stone and is not meant to be a fixed and rigid daily time-table. We will fall-in with your needs where possible. Inform us as to your current SCUBA diving level (not certified, OW, AOW and so forth) and we can adjust the itinerary to fall inline with your experience and needs. Each volunteer must be mature enough to be able to be flexible and respond to the needs of the environment, the Dive Centre, the weather, local NGO's and other events and activities when called upon.

	Arrival		Airport meet & greet by member of the team Transfers to El Quseir Introductions to the dive team Orientation to apartment

	1st WEEK

	Day 1		Orientation of Dive Centre & Local Facilities Check Dive / Try Dive and Equipment Preparation

	Day 2		Open Water Course Day 1 Dive for Fun with Guests

	Day 3		Open Water Course Day 2 Dive for Fun with Guests

	Day 4		Open Water Course Day 3 Dive for Fun with Guests

	Day 5		Open Water Course Day 4 Dive for Fun with Guests

	Day 6		Day Off Fun Diving Opportunity to start Advanced Open Water or other PADI Diver Programme

	Day 7		Day Off Fun Diving Continue with Advanced Open Water or other PADI Diver Programme

	2nd WEEK

	Day 1		Project Aware Specialty Presentation Begin to organise Beach Clean Up

	Day 2		Reef Cleaning Dives with Instruction Continue organising Beach Clean Up

	Day 3		Beach Clean-up Day

	Day 4		Reef Cleaning Dives

	Day 5		Reef Cleaning Dives

	Day 6		Day Off Fun Diving Opportunity to start Advanced Open Water or other PADI Diver Programme

	Day 7		Day Off Fun Diving Continue with Advanced Open Water or other PADI Diver Programme

	3rd WEEK

	Day 1		Project Aware Coral Conservation Presentation

	Day 2		Project Aware Coral Watch Survey with instruction

	Day 3		Reef Cleaning Dives

	Day 4		Reef Cleaning Dives

	Day 5		Reef Cleaning Dives

	Day 6		Day Off Fun Diving Opportunity to start Advanced Open Water or other PADI Diver Programme

	Day 1		Project Aware Fish Identity Presentation

	Day 2		Project Aware Coral Watch Survey

	Day 3		Fish Survey Dives Begin to organise Beach Clean Up

Marine Conservation
Volunteer Compass is a professional organization specializing in the field of Marine Conservation. Through our contacts we are invited and offered to participate in projects around the world that need help. Projects that involve animals such as dolphins, whales, seals, sea lions, porpoise and projects centred around coral protection and conservation.

Wildlife Conservation
Volunteer Compass work with numerous grass-roots NGOs, voluntary sector groups, conservation parks, institutes and professional bodies placing volunteers within conservation projects; supporting and protecting animals such as pandas, lions, tigers, birds, elephants and big game.
