Institute of Nautical Archaeology - The INA   Institute of Nautical Archaeology - INA
Founded in 1973, The Institute of Nautical Archaeology (INA) is a global leader in the field of underwater exploration and discovery. The Mission statement of the INA states: "to fill in the gaps of history and provide answers to challenging historical questions through the study and examination of the vessels that have traveled the world's waterways for millennia, carrying people and cargo, and making possible the widespread exchange of ideas, innovation and invention."
   
Nautical Archaeology Society
Nautical Archaeology Society - NAS
The NAS is dedicated to advancing education in nautical archaeology at all levels; to improving techniques in excavating, conservation and reporting; and to encouraging the participation of members of the public at all stages. It is a non-government organisation formed to further interest in our underwater cultural heritage. The NAS is a registered charity based in the United Kingdom.
